Breast Cancer & Fatigue
According to Reuters, 1/3 of women treated for breast cancer experience fatigue for the first five years after treatment.
Is that a surprise??
Doctors believe that there is a syndrome causing the fatigue and the likelihood increases if one is suffering from depression, heart problems or those treated with chemo and radiation.
I am so happy to read that. I am a very active 2 and a half year survivir who has had both radiation and chemo. I actually went to the doctor last month because I am so tired and am perfectly healthy. yea! So what is wrong with me. 2 and a half more years and I will be 5 years out. Looking forward to the fatigue lifting.
